HAUGHTON Green rugby union club is searching for new coaches to help bring on the next generation of players.
Family commitments meant it did not have people able to take Ruckstarz sessions on Saturday mornings.
Now the hunt is on for replacements as chairman John Gould sees them as ‘a big part into the future of our club.’
Things are progressing on and off the field at Haughton Green, with getting a match for the Under-7s and Under-8s on the agenda.
And there is also a chance they could link up with other clubs to hold joint training sessions.
Mr Gould has also received a boost after agreeing a sponsorship deal Mem-Inflatafun, a company that provides things like bouncy castles for children’s parties.
Members also received a taste of the big time when they attended the rugby union Gallagher Premiership match between Sale Sharks and Bath.
Haughton Green is also on the lookout for new players aged between five and 14-years-old.
Training sessions are held every Sunday morning from 10.30am-12.30pm at Jackson Gardens in Denton.
The first session is free, with a charge of £5 subsequently. If interested, contact John Gould on 07399 680639 or find them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/HGRUFC/
